drowning myself in an alcoholic binge

fleeing from the reality of what is and what will be. running head first straight into insanity.

i was tasted -chewed up and then spit out.

i have learned it's much better to trust my doubts. 

as i start to spin i dance around a self composed novelty of faulty and destructive ideas.

sit on your porch as the rain falls and the cold wind blows- comfortable silence and a chill straight to my bones.

inside, folded over in a hunch. i heave and hurl and let it all up. the sour taste lingers, corroding my mouth. i look down, and remember why. i hack and spit - then start to cry.

you bust in and take a look at my face. i hide it well and you continue on your way.

FUCKED UP, EMBARASSED, CONFUSED, HURT, BROKEN, PISSED AND USED!

ignorant and gullible or just in denial- you choose.

i'm hopelessly devoted to the story of us. YOU TAUGHT MEE LOVE and then SHOWED MEE IT"S FUCKED UP.

STILL picking broken pieces from off the dirt caked floor. STILL mending torn and shattered dreams. but yes,  I'M STILL YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
